Certificate in English for Specific Purposes (ESP)

THIS IS A DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE

We are increasingly being asked to supply teachers who are trained in and qualified to teach English for Specific Purposes (ESP). If you would like to be fully prepared for any teaching situation you may wish to consider an additional qualification and take the Certificate in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to follow on from the Certificate in TESOL.

The course consists of 6 units, approximately 90 hours of work covering the following areas:

• Types of ESP
• Learners & motivation
• Class profiles
• Needs analysis
• Demands on the teacher
• E.A.P - writing & listening skills
• Materials adaptation & production
• Business English - report writing
• Business administration
• Telephone technique
• Seminar & group discussion skills

There are no exams, the course is continually assessed.

The grades for the course are:

• A - Excellent
• B - Good
• C - Pass

Course Fees

COURSE ON CD-ROM and SUBMISSION BY EMAIL

£320 (Europe - paid in full on registration)
£340 (Europe - paid in 2 instalments, the first of £240)

£340 (World - paid in full on registration)
£360 (World - paid in 2 instalments, the first of £260)

Instalments due:-
1st (£215 - UK) (£240 - Europe) (£260 - World) - on registration
2nd (£100) - 1 month following registration

If ESP and the Certificate in TESOL courses are booked together a discount of £50 is applicable. This is in addition to any other discounts for which you may qualify.
eg: £295 + £395 = £690 - £50 = £640
