Listed below are the INTESOL centres where you can book an Onsite Teaching Practice
London W4
The London Empire Academy is situated in West London and is very easy to get to by bus, tube or train. There is a tube and train station within minutes walking distance, and several buses stop within a few yards of the school. They offer a range of courses and training - their part and full-time courses ensure that you will reap the benefits of attendance, whatever your aims. The school is located very close to both Chiswick High Road, with its numerous shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and the River Thames, where you can watch the yearly Oxford versus Cambridge Boat Race. Chiswick is an elegant, green area, where you can experience life in London as the locals live!
Great Yarmouth
Frisby's College is located in an historic building in Great Yarmouth town centre, furnished with modern equipment and only a few minutes from the beach.
The language school is run by a very friendly couple who lead a team of qualified and very experienced teachers.
The school has an excellent reputation in teaching English as a foreign language to students from all around the world as well as teaching business English and English literature.
Because of the small number of students per class all students enjoy very individual, high quality tuition. The school is recommended to students who wish to enjoy the individual attention of all the staff.
The language school organises a varied leisure programme, for example excursions to London, Cambridge or Norwich.
Southport
Situated on the North Promenade in Southport, the Lakeside Centre is the ideal place to get real experience of standing in front of a class and teaching. The surroundings including the marine lake are a relaxing and picturesque place to learn. The Director of Studies, Robin, is inspirational. Take your TP at the Lakeside Centre and be inspired by the DoS and the view!

Shrewsbury
Riversway English Language Centre is a newly developing English Language resource committed to helping local migrant workers to improve their communication skills. In teaching ESOL we cater for learners with specific learning needs, such as dyslexia, and those with specific learning styles (multiple intelligences). Besides using standard ESOL course books, we use the National Skills for Life Materials, and we use Citizenship materials to prepare learners for their life in the UK test.
We are now happy to offer the INTESOL Teaching Practice. This may be completed over ten half days in a single week, but we are also pleased to offer this by any 10 half day sessions, or any 5 full day sessions by appointment. This flexible approach might specially appeal to local trainees who would like to dovetail their teaching practice into their other commitments.
The Teaching Practice at Riversway will be overseen and assessed by Jean Binns MEd (TESOL), a professional teacher trainer, and a Senior Tutor with INTESOL WORLDWIDE.
